This magic has been passed down from Queen to Princess for centuries, only to be used if it is absolutely necessary, and the fast thinking Princess Fillet has jumped to the conclusion that now is that time. The only means of fighting the Princess has left is the legendary “Hero Summon” spell. The tyrannical, ambitious Thirstquencher Empire is about to lay siege upon Allucaneet castle in hopes of expanding their boundaries. The story begins in the basement of Allucaneet castle, where young Princess Fillet and her advisors are facing a grave situation. When this 3-D action RPG was first released, it was alleged to be Square’s response to Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but Brave Fencer Musashi creates a completely unique experience. I myself am not too sure if this going to be locked but meh.Prepare for action, adventure, and lots of laughs in Square’s Brave Fencer Musashi.
It's fun, fast paced, and the story's not too shabby either. The main characters voice sounds like a woman trying to do a guys voice, which SE really did do.Īnyway, this game gets a 8.5/10. The voiceovers aren't very good compared to other SE titles (FF, KH, etc).
The only complaint I really have is the voiceovers. If you enjoyed KH you're bound to like this game. Not too much to complain, yet not too much to compliment either. The graphics for this game are very smooth and very detailed. Boss battles are not extremely difficult, only extremely tedius and long. You can duplicate moves using your focus meter which is activated with the lock on feature. You wield a katana in one hand and in the other one of the swords given from the maiden. It somehow reminds me of KH, but with different changes. You must rescue the five maidens, each representing a special element, and the elemental swords, in order to save the world from the clutches of the evil corporation. You play Musashi, a young boy who was summoned through time and space to help the people of a time where an evil corporation has taken over the world. Well, this is my review of the Square-Enix game, Musashi Samurai Legend. that it's bad.įor me, the first game was great! Well. But I'll play it myself and see for myself if it's really true. Maybe the others were dissapointed because they had awaited for this game to be released in the same way i did too.
It was one of my favorites that's why I had greatly awaited for this to be released.
Now I'm going to be 4th year next school year. The first Musashi game was released when I was Grade 4. They summon dead legends stuck in crystals. Just wanted to let you guys know that it's not like they're making another FFX. But then, Kujiro turned out to be a bad guy.

In the first game, they summoned a legendary hero of the past to help protect their kingdom and that was Musashi. Actually it's not that much of a spoiler but still if you want to have some unexpecting feel of the game then dont look. These days sequels to games that have been created by square-enix and not squaresoft are starting to suck in my world. Moves too slow huh? Is that compared to the first Brave Fencer Musashi or just them (no I'm not saying he was fast or slow)? And it has bad feed backs? Aww.
